SDO Quezon Revisits DepEd Testing Programs with CO-BEA

 Committed to contribute towards improved implementation of the Division Testing Programs, a webinar titled “Revisiting Testing Programs: Adapting to the New Normal” was conducted through the DepEd Central Office- Bureau of Education Assessment (CO-BEA), February 2.

The event was graced by the Director IV of the BEA, Nelia V. Benito, CESO IV. Benito provided the participants with relevant insights on the implementation of testing programs, not to mention her inspiring message to implementers. In the session, the policy guidelines of the different DepEd Testing Programs were discussed, as well as the possible strategies on implementation amidst the pandemic.

Additional information on the Standardized Administration of Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT), and Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test were also provided by Mr. Jerreld M. Romulo, Senior Education Program Specialist (SEPS) of the BEA. Other topics, including the Policy Guidelines on the Standardized Administration of Various Career Assessment Programs, and Accountability in the Workplace, were discussed by the SEPS of Lipa City Schools Division Ariel D. Garcia and DepEd Quezon Education Program Supervisor for SGOD Raul R. Agaran, respectively.

The activity was spearheaded by concurrent DTC designate Agaran through the assistance of the SME Specialists, Mr. Oscar R. Duma Jr. and Dr. Maria Bernadit M. Tupas.
